Burglary Arrest 405 Little Falls Rd.

     Cedar Grove, NJ – On September 1, 2018 at 09:24 am, Cedar Grove Police responded to 405 Little Falls Road, Don Ric Self Storage, on the report of a burglary that had occurred overnight. Security camera footage from August 31st, 7:30 pm, revealed an unknown male smashing the front glass door with a stone block then entering the business. A short time later the subject exits the business with stolen property. The video footage was secured and an image of the suspect was circulated within the department as well as transmitted to surrounding agencies. Officer Joseph Ligas immediately recognized the subject from a previous unrelated incident he assisted Little Falls P.D. with that same night. The subject was positively identified as 28 year old Nathaniel Suarez of New York, NY. Charges were authorized by the Essex County Prosecutors Office and Suarez was entered into the National Crime Information Center data base as a wanted person. On September 4th 2018 Rutherford Police called and advised they had Suarez in custody. He was subsequently transported to Cedar Grove, he was processed, then taken to the Essex County Jail to await a Bail Hearing.
