On April 1, 2019 at 11:55 a.m., Sgt. Jason Wolfstirn stopped a vehicle for failing to obey a traffic signal. It was determined that the operator, a 27 year old male from Cedar Grove, was driving with a suspended license. He was arrested, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On April 1, 2019 at 11:59 a.m., Ptl. Raymond Cassella stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. It was determined that the operator, a 37 year old male from Bethlehem PA, was driving with a suspended license. He was arrested, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On April 1. 2019 at 5:23 p.m., Ptl. Raymond Cassella addressed an ordinance violation that resulted in the arrest of a 49 year old female from Newark for an outstanding criminal warrant. She was also charged with being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On April 3. 2019 at 5:23 p.m., Ptl. Joseph Ligas stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation which resulted in the  arrest of a 28 year old male driver from Newark for driving with a suspended license. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On April 4, 2019 at 11:07 p.m., Ptl. Alan Rock stopped a vehicle for speeding along Ridge Road. A subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of the 36 year old male driver from Philadelphia PA for driving while intoxicated. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On April 9, 2019 at 10:56 a.m., Ptl. Anthony Cardona stopped a vehicle for an expired inspection decal. It was then determined that the vehicle was uninsured and that the operator, a 46 year old male from Garfield, was driving with a suspended license. He was arrested, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On April 10, 2019 at 1:56 p.m., Ptl. Raymond Cassella stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. It was determined that the operator, a 20 year old male from Newark, was driving with a suspended license. He was arrested, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On April 10, 2019 at 2:48 p.m., Ptl. Christopher Heck stopped a vehicle for speeding in a school zone. It was then determined that the 35 year old female driver from Passaic had a suspended driver’s license. She was arrested, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On April 10, 2019 at 5:00 p.m., Ptl. Raymond Cassella stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. It was determined that the operator, a 43 year old male from Belleville, was driving with a suspended license. He was arrested, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On April 11, 2019 at 12:37 p.m., Ptl. Raymond Cassella stopped a vehicle for an expired temporary license plate. It was determined that the operator, a 48 year old male from Montclair, was driving with a suspended license and that the vehicle was uninsured. He was arrested, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On April 12, 2019 at 6:43 p.m., Officers responded to the CVS at 1041 Pompton Avenue for a report of an attempted prescription fraud. The investigation resulted in the arrest of a 20 year old male from East Orange and a 36 year old male from Orange. Both were charged with numerous offenses including attempting to obtain a controlled substance by fraud, possession of CDS and drug paraphernalia. Both were released with summonses to appear in municipal court.
 
On April 14, 2019 at 12:02 a.m., Ptl. Joseph Ligas stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. It was determined that the 20 year old male operator from Rockaway was driving with a suspended license and that the vehicle was uninsured. He was arrested, processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On April 14, 2019 at 12:59 a.m., Ptl. Joseph Ligas stopped a vehicle for speeding along Pompton Avenue. A subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of a 28 year old male from Bloomfield for driving while intoxicated. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On April 16, 2019 at 11:52 p.m., Ptl. Michael Passafiume stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. It was then determined that the operator, a 46 year old male from Paterson, was driving with a suspended license. He was arrested, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On April 18, 2019 at 11:47 a.m., Ptl. Jason Rivers stopped a vehicle after observing the operator using a handheld cell phone. It was determined that the operator, a 24 year old female from Orange, was driving with a suspended license. She was arrested, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
 
On April 19, 2019 at 2:30 p.m., Ptl. Raymond Cassella stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. It was determined that the operator, a 32 year old male from Clifton, was driving with a suspended license. He was arrested, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On April 19, 2019 at 11:09 p.m., Ptl. Dominic Buscio stopped a vehicle after a 911 call reporting an erratic driver. It was determined that the operator, a 32 year old male from Hackensack, was driving while intoxicated. He was arrested, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On April 20, 2019 at 1:41 p.m., Ptl. Raymond Cassella stopped a vehicle after a check on his MDT revealed that the license plate displayed on the vehicle was not on file.  The driver, a 21 year old female from Elizabeth, was determined to be unlicensed. The vehicle was not registered or uninsured. The driver was issued numerous summonses and the vehicle was impounded. A 21 year old male passenger from Garfield was arrested after he was found to be in possession of a loaded .380 caliber handgun and marijuana. He was processed and transported to the Essex County Jail.
