On April 23, 2019 at 08:32 a.m., Ptl. Nicole Witel stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. It was then determined that the operator, a 29 year old male from Paterson, was driving with a suspended license. He was arrested, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On April 24, 2019 at 12:11 a.m., Ptl. Joseph Ligas stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. It was determined that the operator, a 29 year old male from Newark, was driving with a suspended license. He was arrested, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
  
On April 24, 2019 at 4:37 p.m., Ptl. Dominick Buscio stopped a vehicle for a moving violation. It was determined that the operator, a 31 year old male from Clifton, was in possession of marijuana. He was arrested, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On April 24, 2019 at 9:42 p.m., Ptl. Christopher Lynch stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. It was determined that the operator, a 24 year old male from Clifton, was in possession of marijuana. He was arrested, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On April 25, 2019 at 3:39 p.m., Ptl. Dominick Buscio stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. It was determined that the operator, a 28 year old male from Cedar Grove, was driving with a suspended license. He was arrested, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On April 27, 2019 at 12:00 a.m., Ptl. Anthony Grigolo stopped a vehicle for speeding on Fairview Avenue. It was determined that the 53 year old male operator was driving while intoxicated. He was arrested and his vehicle was impounded. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On April 27, 2019 at 10:53 a.m., Ptl. Anthony Cardona stopped a vehicle for a moving violation. It was determined that the operator, a 31 year old male from Clifton, was driving with a suspended license. He was also found to be in possession of marijuana and had an outstanding criminal warrant. He was arrested, processed, and transported to the Essex County Jail.
 
On April 27, 2019 at 7:4 p.m., Ptl. Joseph Ligas stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. It was determined that the operator, a 22 year old male from Kearny, was driving with a suspended license. He was arrested, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On April 28, 2019 at 8:34 p.m., Ptl. Jason Rivers stopped a vehicle after a random license plate check on his MDT revealed that the operator had a suspended license. The 39 year old female driver from Whippany was arrested, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On May 6, 2019 at 2:45 p.m., police and fire personnel responded to a fire at a Birch Road apartment. The fire began in a vehicle parked in a garage below an apartment. Responding officers knocked down the flames with fire extinguishers and evacuated the apartment. The fire department then extinguished the fire. No one was injured and the damage was limited to the vehicle and the garage.
 
On May 7, 2019 at 10:52 p.m., Sgt. Jose Rodriguez stopped a vehicle for speeding on Pompton Avenue. Further investigation revealed that the driver, a 31 year old male from West Orange, was a wanted person. He was arrested and later turned over to West Orange Police.
 
On May 8, 2019 at 2:37 p.m., officers responded to Foodtown on a report of a shoplifting. The actor had fled the area prior to police arrival. Surveillance video was obtain and the incident remains under investigation.
 
On May 9, 2019 at 12:00 a.m., Ptl. Michael Passafiume was investigating an unrelated 911 call when he came upon a suspicious vehicle. An investigation resulted in the arrest of a 22 year old male from Verona for possession of marijuana. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On May 11, 2019 at 7:28 p.m., Ptl. Alan Rock stopped a vehicle after a random license plate check revealed that the operator had a suspended license. The 23 year old male driver from Verona was arrested, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
