On May 28, 2019 at 4:31 p.m., Ptl. Connor Grawehr stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. It was determined that the driver, a 25 year old male from Montclair, was operating a vehicle with a suspended license. He was arrested and found to be in possession of cocaine. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On May 30, 2019 at 8:29 p.m., Ptl. Raymond Cassella stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. It was determined that the driver, a 26 year old female from Wayne, was operating a vehicle with a suspended license. She was arrested, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On June 17, 2019 at 3:12 p.m., Ptl. Jason Rivers stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 23 year old male driver from Jersey City for driving while suspended. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On June 19, 2019 at 6:34 p.m., Detectives and patrol officers responded to a local business that reported fraudulent activity committed by an employee. The employee created fraudulent payroll hours for persons no longer employed by the company. He would then take and cash the payroll checks for his own benefit defrauding the company of over $20,000.00. The suspected employee was identified, arrested, and charged with forgery. He was processed and transported to the Essex County Jail.
 
On June 20, 2019 Ptl. Raymond Cassella arrested a 49 year old male from Kinnelon after a tip from an alert employee at Foodtown. The employee recognized the individual as a suspect in three prior shoplifting offenses at the store since May. The subject was identified, interviewed, and charged with three counts of shoplifting. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On June 21, 2019 at 4:10 p.m., Detectives and patrol officers responded to a burglary to a vehicle that had been parked at a local nursing home. The driver side window had been smashed and a purse with cash was taken from the vehicle. The incident remains under investigation.
 
On June 22, 2019 at 9:21 a.m., Ptl. Anthony Cardona stopped a vehicle with tinted front windows. It was determined that the 23 year old male operator from Orange had a suspended license and an outstanding traffic warrant. He was arrest, processed, and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On June 24, 2019 at 12:25 p.m., Ptl. Raymond Cassella stopped a vehicle with an obstructed windshield. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 24 year old female driver from Newark for driving while suspended. She was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court. Her vehicle was impounded after it was determined to be unregistered and uninsured.
 
On June 24, 2019 at 3:38 p.m., Ptl. Dominick Buscio stopped a vehicle for an obstructed windshield. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 25 year old operator from Pennsylvania for driving with a suspended license. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On June 25, 2019 at 2:50 a.m., Ptl. Christopher Lynch observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Pompton Avenue. He checked the registration on his MDT which revealed that the vehicle had been reported stolen. He lost sight of the vehicle and began a check of the area side streets. While on foot he observed a subject hiding behind a vehicle parked in a driveway. That subject was taken in to custody and two other subjects fled on foot. They were later apprehended with assistance from Little Falls and Verona Police. All three were juveniles. They were charged and later released to their parents.  
 
On June 27, 2019 at 8:41 p.m., Ptl. Alan Rock stopped a vehicle after a random check on his MDT revealed that the operator had a suspended license. The operator, a 30 year old male from Verona, was arrested for driving with a suspended license. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On June 28, 2019 at 1:44 a.m., Ptl. Anthony Grigolo stopped a vehicle for speeding and failing to maintain a lane on Pompton Avenue. A subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of the 48 year old male from Cedar Grove for driving while intoxicated. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On June 28, 2019 at 7:49 p.m., Ptl. Michael Passafiume stopped a vehicle for an obstructed windshield. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 20 year old male operator from Orange for driving with a suspended license. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On June 29, 2019 at 12:39 a.m., Ptl. Michael Passafiume stopped a vehicle for an obstructed license plate. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 32 year old male operator from Orange for driving with a suspended license. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On June 29, 2019 at 2:50 p.m., Ptl. Raymond Cassella stopped a vehicle after observing the operator using a handheld cell phone while driving. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 24 year old female operator from Newark for driving with a suspended license. She was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On June 30, 2019 at 12:54 a.m., Ptl. Michael Passafiume investigated a suspicious person in the parking lot of the CVS at 387 Pompton Avenue. The investigation revealed that the subject, a 47 year old male from Verona, was wanted on an outstanding warrant by Clifton. He was arrested and later released after posting the required bail.
