On August 20, 2018 at 9:52 p.m., Ptl. Christopher Lynch stopped a suspicious vehicle he had observed on Birch Road. An investigation led to the arrest of an 18 year old male passenger from Montclair for possession of marijuana. He was arrested, processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On August 22, 2018 at 11:32 p.m., Ptl. Joseph Johnson stopped a vehicle for failing to signal a lane change. The operator, a 31 year old male from Hasbrouck Heights, was arrested after it was determined that he was driving with a suspended license. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On August 23, 2018 at 12:53 a.m., Ptl. Anthony Cardona stopped a vehicle for going through a red light. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 28 year old female driver from Montclair for driving while intoxicated. She was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On August 23, 2018 at 1:29 p.m., Ptl. Joseph Russomanno investigated a motor vehicle crash in front of the Foodtown. It was determined that one of the involved drivers, a 57 year old male from Wayne, was operating his vehicle with a suspended license. He was arrested, processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On August 23, 2018 at 4:14 p.m., Ptl. Jason Rivers responded to the parking lot at 420 Pompton Avenue on a report of an unconscious male in the driver’s seat of a vehicle. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 63 year old male operator from Cedar Grove for driving while intoxicated. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On August 24, 2018 at 9:00 a.m., Ptl. Christopher Heck took a report of criminal mischief and burglary to a Komatsu excavator on the construction site at 125 Fairview Avenue. Actors had smashed the windshield and damaged the ignition to the machine. An employee at the sight received information from a friend that saw a social media post with the actors sitting on the damaged equipment. Ptl. Heck and Detective Carolyn Lynch conducted an investigation with the information and were able to identify the individuals. As a result, two adults and one juvenile were charged with the offense.
 
On August 25, 2018 at 4:02 p.m., Ptl. Robert Hectus stopped a vehicle for failing to stop for a stop sign. It was determined that the 27 year old male driver from Clifton was driving with a suspended license. He was arrested processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On August 25, 2018 at 4:15 p.m., Ptl. Christopher Heck stopped a vehicle for failing to stop for a red light. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 26 year old female operator from Newark for possession of marijuana. She was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On August 25, 2018 at 11:00 p.m., Ptl. Michael Passafiume investigated a vehicle parked in Mills Reservation after hours. The investigation resulted in the arrest of a 19 year old female from Nutley for possession of marijuana. She was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On August 26, 2018 at 1:24 a.m., Ptl. Dominick Buscio stopped a vehicle displaying dark tinted front windows. It was determined that the driver, a 26 year old male from West Orange, was operating a vehicle with a suspended license. He was arrested, processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On August 26, 2018 at 3:12 a.m., Ptl. Justin Westra stopped a vehicle for speeding. It was determined that the driver, a 26 year old male from Clifton, was operating a vehicle with a suspended license. He was arrested, processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.

On August 27, 2018 at 9:52 p.m., Ptl. Christopher Lynch stopped a vehicle with inoperative license plate lamps. An investigation led to the arrest of a 22 year old male passenger from Clifton for possession of marijuana. He was arrested, processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On August 23, 2018 at 12:53 a.m., Ptl. Anthony Cardona stopped a vehicle for failing to maintain a lane and an inoperative center brake lamp. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 31 year old male driver from Orange for driving while suspended. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On August 23, 2018 at 1:29 p.m., Ptl. Joseph Ligas stopped a vehicle with an inoperative center brake and license plate lamps. It was determined that the driver, a 20 year old male from Bloomfield, was operating his vehicle with a suspended license. He was arrested, processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
 
On September 1, 2018 at 9:24 a.m., Detective John Smigelsky and Detective Carolyn Lynch investigated a burglary to a Little Falls Road business. They obtained surveillance video of the actor. The subject was later identified and charges are pending.
 
On September 1, 2018 at 11:38 p.m., Ptl. Anthony Cardona stopped a vehicle for speeding along Ridge Road. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 31 year old male driver from Teaneck for driving while intoxicated. He was processed and released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
